DIGITAL RETOUCHING

During your pre booking consultation, you will be asked questions regarding your comfort level with digital retouching. Some people love it, others - it's just simply not for them.

Each client is given the option to have their images completely natural with no adjustments, basic retouching including blemish removal, bruising etc - things that come and go, right through to more advanced retouching. Please note we do not provide extreme retouching where the image no longer represents the original photograph or person. We advocate for slight tweaks and adjustments.

At Alise Black Photographic Studios, we believe that every person can be photographed beautifully by us, however we understand that some clients want to have specific areas of concern modified after the photo shoot in their second edit.

Below is a list of all the types of retouching that this available. Specific retouching pricing ranges from as little as $2 to $25 per request or quoted as required. Majority of our clients are happy to have a complimentary basic retouch which is natural and removes blemishes or bruising, lint removal and slight skin softening.

Alise does not use AI (Artificial Intelligence) retouching. Why? Because unfortunately it still looks too artificial. Alise has perfected a range of tools to provide a fast retouch. Her studies in digital retouching have allowed her to perfect craft - which takes years to master. Editorial retouching is a skill that requires expertise and a great deal of attention to detail.
