At Alise Black Studios, we offer a full service professional photoshoot where you can be as glamorous as you like. Our studio has been creating unique and modern glamour photography since 2003. Alise is a highly trained commercial fashion photographer. You will experience beautiful hair and makeup styling with expert guidance in our Private Sessions.
Alise Black Studios specialises in diverse personal portfolios that showcase a range of emotions and styles. You may like to wear a big, gorgeous dress, have beautiful makeup done and go to the beach for your photoshoots. Or, you may like to stay in the privacy of our professional studio which is relaxing, comfortable and offers a range of settings. We have diverse galleries for you to explore.

At our studio, we opt for a modern style of glamour portraiture and love helping our clients create beautiful images they love for a lifetime. Glamour photography started in the 1900s and continues to evolve today. If you go back to the 1950s there are gorgeous images of women in bikinis and in the 1920s it was all about Hollywood lighting and artistic black and white photography.
It's really important to have the appropriate hair & makeup styling, coupled with expert retouching refinement, to ensure the images are a polished reflection of you. We focus on your best features and bring out an inner beauty. Creating experiences and imagery that stand the test of time. If you're nervous, please don't be. We're here to guide you every step of the way.

We are here to help you successfully achieve a diverse range of images you are proud of. At Alise Black Studios, we will make sure you experience a welcoming, friendly environment and your images have the attention to detail that is needed in a professional photoshoot.
We offer transparent pricing prior to every booking, plus we will advise you on how to prepare for your photoshoot. We also give you step by step guidance on how to select clothing to make the photoshoots completely unique to you.
On the day, enjoy learning about professional makeup application for photography and the importance of styling. Relax as we direct you through the range of positions and poses. Our premier studio is based in Sydney, with shoots also available in Melbourne and Brisbane. Photoshoots are thoughtfully designed across studio, lifestyle, natural light and on-location settings to maximise your range.
Every booking includes a personalised phone styling consult and a detailed styling guide sent before your appointment. Outfits, colour themes and layering options are all discussed so your looks are diversified.
Whether you have a signature look or want to explore variety, our team creates styles tailored to you — beach waves, soft curls, volume blow-outs, sleek straight or fashion-forward looks that photograph beautifully.
We use professional high-definition photographic makeup with micronising foundations for a flawless, camera-ready complexion. Personalised colour palettes are created to complement your unique features.
Natural retouching — including removal of blemishes and body marks — is applied before you see the images. A retouching menu is also available for additional refinement or specific requests.
Capture your personality beyond the still image. We create styled behind-the-scenes video reels from your photoshoot — perfect for capturing hair and makeup being done and memories of your experience.
