Where do I start. Ok I’m going to be open here. A few days ago I was in a bad head space, anyways today as I turn up for my session I was truly unsure and couldn’t see how they could work with me 🥹 how wrong I was. The experience, the feeling of being open, free and trusting was phenomenal and the PICS!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my photo shoot with Alise & Treia. The communication beforehand was also very organised and detailed and I was able to properly prepare for the day. Omg I can’t rave about these ladies enough. Today I received my photos for my branding shoot. Absolutely amazing, I totally recommend the VIP package. The VIP includes hair and photographic makeup, lots of fun and support even if your not confident in-front of the camera, your photos will be amazing. We shot some photos inside the awesome warehouse and some in the parks.
Lots of consultation on what to wear so your not left unguided. Great advice during the shoot, Alise and Treia make you feel so comfortable. I will be back 🙌💕

I cannot recommend Alise highly enough! Beautiful ambiance from the moment I stepped into the boutique studio. Transparent pricing from the get-go. Alise and Treia were amazing; they were so helpful from the very moment I expressed interest. They answered all of my questions and dealt out helpful advice when I was picking out things to wear. They’re lovely and friendly people and I felt comfortable throughout the shoot (besides standing in heels, ha!). Alise gives advice throughout the photo shoot on what to do with your body, so you’re never left to awkwardly pose on your own. If you’re thinking about it at all, I’d recommend getting in contact with them and taking the leap. You won’t regret it!

I booked a session with Alise after getting the idea from TikTok. It was absolutely a sour if (sic 'spare of') the moment burst of confidence and then I shut the laptop and waited nervously. From the first conversation with Treia I have felt my nervousness dissipate. Everything that could be covered (or not 😉) was discussed in these consultation calls the weeks prior to my visit. Of course I was nervous when I arrived for my shoot, but I was excited! And when I am excited I have a tendency to share…. A lot!! The girls put me at ease straight away with their amazing personalities. So calming and so accepting. I would have thought I was the most beautiful model to have walked in the studio. I was made to feel so at home that my confidence only grew and I had complete faith in Alise’s ideas on what the next phase could be. So much confidence that in the final stage of the session, choosing my shots I was able to say confidently what I loved and what I didn’t love about every carefully curated photo. I've been meaning to write this review for a while and now seems like good time. I decided to use Alise Black Photographic Studios for my first modelling portfolio. I didn't really know what to expect, but the ladies did such an amazing job making me feel comfortable and bringing out the best in me. We shot a number of different outfits, styles and backgrounds and once completed, I was given the opportunity to look through the results and pick my favourites for the portfolio. The end result was a high quality, diverse range of photos, which I couldn't have been happier with. Skip forward a few weeks and after sending off my photos to agencies, I've already received interest and am looking forward to taking the next steps in the industry. I really feel like the experience was worth it and above all thought was genuinly fun! Highly recommend :)

Personally I dread having my photo taken and was incredibly nervous about having photo's done. But my fears was alleviated as soon as I walked in the door, I was met by Treia, whose calming and welcoming influence immediately set me at ease. She went through my outfits and my own personal style which I felt allowed me to relax and help me know the photos were about me and not making me into someone else. What can I say about Alise, amazing, wonderful, kind, generous, lovely and fun to work with. I wish I could give more then 5 stars.. I honestly was so nervous going into this and I couldn't have had a better experience. Alise was super friendly and had me laughing the whole time..the best part though, my photos came out insane. Honesty, im still in disbelief with a few of them. Just incredible.

From the moment I first touched base with the studio, it was the professional experience that I had hoped it would be. And it delivered all that it promised - a collection of simple but professional images that I could use for personal-branding on my website and for editorial purposes. When I arrived at the studio, Treia greeted me with a huge smile and instantly had me at ease - going through my selection of outfits and choosing what would work best for the camera. Alise understood immediately what I was after and the experience of being photographed made me feel rather special! I've always hated my open-mouth smile, but these were actually some of the best shots. I feel that Alise has captured *me* well. I certainly didn't want to be overly-touched-up or made to look glamorous, I wanted to look like, well, 'professional but approachable' me. I am incredibly happy to recommend Alise and the team, it really was a great experience.

What a wonderful experience having a pregnancy photograph taken by Alise and her assistance Treia. They went above and beyond with outstanding communication in the time of COVID to find a booking for me before my due date, welcoming me into the beautiful Japanese teahouse feeling Melbourne studio space, and doing my hair and makeup and encouraging me to feel confident and at my best in my pregnancy body for the session itself. I struggled to describe exactly what I wanted, so trusted them to come up with something suitable - and they delivered in spades.
