A 3 hour Private Photography Session includes professional studio photoshoots and lifestyle photography. These Sessions also include styling, hair and makeup artistry and a whole lot of pampering. For clients who want more, we offer 4 or 5 hour VIP Experiences, so there's an option to suit everyone!
At Alise Black Studios, we understand how important it is to bring the photographic lighting, styling and makeup together. We create 3-6 styles of photoshoots depending on the Session you book. You may choose to create a range of looks, including natural, formal, fashion, beauty, fine art or boudoir to diversify your collection of images. If you are not sure what you want, simply reach out and we will talk you through your options.
To help you prepare for your Session, you will work with Treia, our highly experienced Stylist. She'll guide you through a styling, colour, and clothing consultation, covering your hair and makeup preferences, and support you on the day of your photoshoot. This is really helpful in organising your photoshoots professionally and ensuring you get the most out of the experience. Our combined 40 years experience is here to guide you every step of the way.

Portrait Photography is a very detailed photographic style requiring expert guidance, technical skill and training. Alise will show you how to position yourself in front of the camera and coach you through a range of facial expressions to complement the shoot styles. Furthermore, Alise will apply natural retouching to the collection of images before you see them on the day!
Even our most shy clients love the experience with us because our studios are private and we personalise your photography session to your comfort. You will never be left to awkwardly pose by yourself as Alise will guide you through every photoshoot.
Providing a same day viewing is really rare in the industry and just another reason people love working with us. Natural skin softening and removal of body marks is complimentary. We offer a retouching menu for specific requests. We understand that some clients are self conscious about some areas and will ensure this is treated with the utmost care and sensitivity.

Our premier studio is based in Sydney, with shoots also available in Melbourne and Brisbane. Photoshoots are thoughtfully designed across studio, lifestyle, natural light and on-location settings to maximise your range.
Every booking includes a personalised phone styling consult and a detailed styling guide sent before your appointment. Outfits, colour themes and layering options are all discussed so your looks are diversified.
Whether you have a signature look or want to explore variety, our team creates styles tailored to you — beach waves, soft curls, volume blow-outs, sleek straight or fashion-forward looks that photograph beautifully.
We use professional high-definition photographic makeup with micronising foundations for a flawless, camera-ready complexion. Personalised colour palettes are created to complement your unique features.
Natural retouching — including removal of blemishes and body marks — is applied before you see the images. A retouching menu is also available for additional refinement or specific requests.
Capture your personality beyond the still image. We create styled behind-the-scenes video reels from your photoshoot — a perfect way to remember the experience.
