Alise Black Studios is very popular and can be booked out weeks in advance. To arrange an appointment we require a minimum payment of:

• $199+ for Headshot Sittings

• $299 for Private Sessions

• $500 for VIP Photoshoots

• 50% for Commercial Clients

• Booking fees to secure appointments

We are committed to delivering a professional, high-quality studio experience. There is considerable pre-planning therefore we require payment of the Sitting fee, Private Session fee, VIP Experience deposit, or Commercial deposit to confirm a date and time. Booking fees and deposits are non-refundable once your appointment has taken place. The booking / deposit fee contributes to studio time, hair & makeup, styling, and photography services rendered. Image selection and purchase is a separate process completed in your same day Viewing Consultation. The fee is not contingent on purchasing images.
 

• Order to your comfort

On the day of your appointment you will enjoy a same day Viewing Consultation where you see a curated selection of professional images. You simply order the images you want, once you see the results. Sittings and VIP Experiences have an included number of images, Private Sessions offer flexibility to order as many images as you like with no minimum order requirement.
 

• Rescheduling

We understand that schedules do change; however, we ask that you please give us 7 days' notice if you need to alter an appointment as last-minute rescheduling is a significant cost to the business. Bookings cancelled or changed within 7 days of your scheduled time will incur a loss of the booking fee or deposit, including 'no shows'. Requests to reschedule due to medical reasons are viewed on compassionate grounds on an individual basis.
 

• Rescheduling due to medical reasons

Please notify us as soon as possible to postpone the appointment. As we work in close proximity with our clients, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you arrive at our studio unwell with any contagious symptoms such as eye infections, cold sores, or cold and flu. Please contact us to discuss.

• Staff illness or Government required pandemic shutdowns

We appreciate that illness of staff members and government closures are highly inconvenient to our clients. In the extremely rare case staff are unwell and therefore unable to provide your photography shoot, you will be notified immediately. Depending on the situation, we will offer compensation for the inconvenience of either a complimentary session fee or a free digital image to rebook a new time or a full refund of all booking fees paid should the new times offered not be suitable. Please understand this is very rare over the 20+ years of business.
