Alise Black Photographic & Creative Studios was established in 2003. We are a leading photography and creative services provider along the east coast of Australia. Our studio has grown from its initial location in Melbourne to include studios in Sydney and, most recently, Brisbane.
Alise Black, a highly qualified professional photographer with formal training from SIT and RMIT. Prior to starting her own business, Alise gained extensive experience working for other photography businesses and climbed the corporate ladder in customer service, managing a team of 150 staff across Australia. This solid foundation of formal photographic training and business knowledge enabled Alise to create a unique studio environment that has since become a leader in professional photography and creative services. Alise is passionate about creating unique, beautiful and artistic photoshoots to meet a wide range of client needs.
A growing business
The studio's journey has been one of growth and change, and excitingly the opening of new locations. Initially established in Melbourne, we expanded to Sydney in 2016, servicing clients in both cities. In 2024, we opened our premier studio in Brisbane, which is now the head office. We do our utmost to create stunning shoots for clients from all over the East Coast either on location or in one of our studios.

Brisbane Head Office

Our premier studio in Brisbane, is located in Teneriffe, moments from the city centre. It is a large, climate-controlled space with ample client parking. The studio features multiple setups, including white, grey, and black backdrops, a green screen for millions of color options, natural light areas, and lifestyle settings. This versatile environment allows for a wide range of photoshoots, from commercial projects to private sessions.

Alise
Alise Black, the founder and creative director, is a highly qualified professional photographer with over 20 years of industry experience in photography, hair and makeup styling, and graphic design. She has personally photographed over 13,500 clients from diverse walks of life and ethnic backgrounds. Alise's natural, calming energy helps put even the most nervous clients at ease, making the photoshoot experience enjoyable and memorable.
Treia
Treia, the co-director, has also worked in the Studio for well over fifteen years. She manages all our client needs and provides outstanding styling to help our clients look and feel their best. She works closely with Alise to ensure our photoshoots run seamlessly and professionally but are also a lot of fun.
The Support Crew
Tracy and Nicole, along with a small team of highly qualified professionals, supports the management team. Having worked together for over 10 years, their long-standing collaboration ensures a seemless and professional experience for all our clients.

Model Portfolios
At Alise Black Studios we are renowned for our expertise in creating diverse and dynamic model portfolios. The studio offers a 3-hour private photography session that includes styling, hair, makeup, and three different photoshoots. Clients can choose to customize their order once they see the results or pre-commit to a VIP Experience. We really focus on diversity and creating a range of styles and settings used in each photoshoot, ensuring that models are showcased in a variety of contexts.
