Alise Black Studios creates professional portfolios for musicians, singers, dancers and performers. Performance photoshoots require creativity and flair to capture the right mood for your portfolio. We assist artists and musicians to diversify their range through a variety of photoshoots; i.e. natural look, something dark and moody through to creative makeup styling to achieve a more dramatic effect.
We help dance and ballerina clients showcase the type of work they want to obtain. Beautiful professional studio shoots can help showcase muscle definition and strength. We love working with dancers as they understand movement and are a joy to photograph.

At Alise Black Studios, we offer a simple Headshot Sitting, or a Private Session with 2-4 different photoshoots and Half and Full Day VIP Experiences. You can have natural headshots through to character images that make you stand out. We discuss what style and look you are after and help you achieve this in the easiest way possible.
We appreciate some clients are nervous when starting out or even updating their portfolios. We are here to help! Whether you are just starting your career or an experienced performer, the right images are a must to make your brand stand out.
You will work with Treia, our highly experienced Stylist. Styling expertise, colour consult, clothing consultation and lots of photoshoot preparation is provided. We design a range of photoshoots in the one Session so you can diversify your online presence.
Take a look at a first step performance portfolio below. These images were achieved on the same day in a 4 hour experience. They show the diversity of a young dancer, singer and performer. We included natural styling with minimal makeup, then evolved the looks for a more dramatic effect.
The experience was absolutely amazing...They are a good team together, have an in-depth experience in photography and we managed to make the most amazing and professional photographs I've ever had in my life.

Our premier Brisbane Studio is a beautiful, spacious, climate controlled environment with convenient client parking. Formally trained in photography at SIT and RMIT, Alise has photographed over 15,000 Private Sessions. As a professional photographer, hair and makeup artist, designer and body language specialist, she brings a unique multi-disciplinary approach to your different photoshoots. Prior to your appointment, you'll receive a personalised over the phone styling consultation with Treia, your dedicated stylist. She'll discuss outfit choices, colour palettes and styling details. Hair styling is completely personalised to you. Some clients arrive with their signature look already perfected. Editing
Each client has the option to advise their comfort with retouching. Before you see the images, they receive colour management and editing, plus a natural retouch of skin softening, blemishes and body marks that come and go.
