The 30, 45 and 60 minute Headshot Sittings at Alise Black Studios are perfect for those who prefer to manage their own styling and want high-quality professional photographs for LinkedIn, online profiles, work websites, social media, acting and extras portfolios, and applications.
Our Headshot Sitting includes the following:
Preparation: 15 minutes
✓ A pre-appointment phone consultation to help you prepare — including background choice, guidance on what clothing photographs well and how to make the most of your Sitting.
Studio Hire:
✓ Private hire of our luxury studio in Sydney.
✓ Professional studio equipment, lighting, and industry-leading capture and editing software — everything required to produce polished, commercial-quality images.
✓ Your Sitting is professionally photographed by Alise Black.
Your choice of:
1. Natural light photography in a lifestyle setting, or
2. Studio backdrop: professional black, white or green screen (with millions of RGB colour backdrops available to you), or
3. A combination of natural light, lifestyle, and studio backdrops.
Natural Retouching:
✓ Natural retouching of blemishes, darkness under eyes, or skin imperfections that come and go is complimentary.
✓ Specific retouching requests are available ($5-25) as per our retouching menu.
Same Day Viewing:
✓ Alise will curate and professionally edit a collection of the best images for you to view instantly — no need to see blinks, awkward expressions or RAW files — you are presented with polished, high-quality images.
✓ On the day, relax during your viewing and select the images you'd like to order — once you've seen the results.
High-Resolution Retouched Digital Images
Professional images are supplied in three (3) digital formats for easy use:
1. 26MB Tif file (8x12" / Tif 2400x1600 @ 300 dpi) printable copy to A4
2. Large JPG 300dpi
3. Optimised web version 200 dpi (under 2MB) ready to load to online platforms
✓ Additional professional images beyond those included in the Sitting fee are available to purchase at only $99
✓ High-resolution digital images are suitable for printing up to A4 magazine size, print-ready.
✓ Copyright release granted to use the image(s) worldwide for personal use, websites and social media.
✓ Natural retouching is applied to ensure the images are polished and professional. For example, lint on clothing, flyaway hairs, blemishes or dark circles under the eyes.
Delivery within 24 hours:
✓ A simple 'How-to' guide for managing and uploading your high-resolution files with ease.
✓ Fast, secure delivery of the order within 24 hours via Dropbox
Some professionals may claim their photoshoot and images as a tax deduction for marketing and promotion. We recommend checking with your tax advisor.

Our premier studio in Sydney, is a large multi-level climate controlled space. A sanctuary in the inner city. We have white, black and green screen pro backdrops, natural light areas, private green space, and lifestyle settings.
Every booking includes a personalised phone styling consult and a detailed styling guide sent before your appointment. Outfits, colour themes and layering options are all discussed so your looks are diversified.
Whether you have a signature look or want to explore variety, our team creates styles tailored to you — beach waves, soft curls, volume blow-outs, sleek straight or fashion-forward looks that photograph beautifully.
We use professional high-definition photographic makeup with micronising foundations for a flawless, camera-ready complexion. Personalised colour palettes are created to complement your unique features.
Natural retouching — including removal of blemishes and body marks — is applied before you see the images. A retouching menu is also available for additional refinement or specific requests.
Capture your personality beyond the still image. We create styled behind-the-scenes video reels from your photoshoot — perfect for social media, agency submissions and personal branding.
